recently i was told that while in the "grotto" attacking the person 'flew' into the cave of some return. Don't know if it's true and i can't confirm it but i did see him in there but if it really can happen it should be looked into and fixed ASAP, thats basically getting gems for free and isn't fair on those who take the time to do surveys, etc. or pay to get in if others can get it for free.

happened to me again too.

was attacking a red blob thing in the cave of some return.

i double clicked to attack, then clicked away to prevent my character from approaching the monster so i could range attack, and off he walked.

Almost sounds like a function is retuning an "out of range" or corrupted value for location, and then resets to coordinates 0.0 (or somewhere close by).

This is a complete shot in the dark of course, Since I know nothing about the code.

I think this is what it is but I haven't tracked it down yet.

It may not even be a problem in your code. It could be an inherent issue with the SDK (Software Development Kit for the neophytes). I'm sure you already have, but it might useful to checkout the "known issues" bugs on their website to see if anything similar (i.e. out of range / corruption) is happening with a function you're using around relocation.

It would also be nice to know what time of day, and which server it's happening on. It maybe related to activity on a server (i.e. a lot of users). If memory usage is peaking on server-1 (for example) at certain times, it might useful to see if it corresponds to any of these incidents.

I'm done stating the obvious.

Good luck.
