You possibly missed one.

Also... you should always delete mail.

refresh page and click on mailbox, close it, and re open it and close it again, it worked for me.

Logged on today and my mailbox was fixed

I got my daily 5 free gems today and I think thats why it is working now. Because last time when I tried to get my daily free gems I did not recieve them for some reason.
