Trading in Fantasy Online

This is typically the practice of finding someone else with an item you want and exchanging it for one of your items that they want. People often suggest that one person list their item for a low price and in return, the other will do the same.

Stop doing this.

Because there is not a formal trading system in FO as it is, this process opens people up to being victimized in a number of ways. There are too many people who are aware people list nice things at low prices and sit at the market all day just hunting for opportunities to snipe these things out from underneath you.

Trade is not supported in this game and you may find that help from moderators and admins is not necessarily forthcoming if you allow yourself to be ripped off in this manner.

If you find yourself ripped off by someone, you are of course welcome to post in the support thread but there are no guarantees that your matter will be, or can be fixed/attended to.

Mods/Admins probably won't help you because getting scammed in a trade is usually/100% of the time your fault.
