for fast simple tasks like that? PSP 5 lol

but the basic map was not generated that way

To do the map, did you take a screenshot of you in some "strategic" points of the map, then putted them all together (scaled down) to form that map, then hiding yourself with a "stamp" tool? I'm just wondering.

no, i took 500 screen shots, saved them all with absolute coordinates and generated the full map from those coordinates using the most common pixel on all overlapping images :-)
