I'm not high-level... but I am a veteran...

After the great reset, I just kind of stopped playing. I was one of the highest levels, at the frontier of the game. Then I log in and I'm like "FFUUUUUUUUUU-".

Despite this I still go on the forums everyday. That part of FO, I'll never leave.

Things that would keep me playing FO daily

PVP - I am very competitive and cant wait for this to be introduced!

Crafting/Resources - A different way to make money/help newbs. May even make some of these worthless drops less worthless! Resource gathering would be cool. Mining/smithing perhaps?

Moderating - I would very much like to help moderate chat, as there never seems to be a mod around when you need one. Its very clear more moderators are required.

Guilds - If/when this is introduced it will be very popular. Accompanied with PVP there could be Guild battles. Guilds would generally increase the competitiveness, bring 'guild mates' closer and add more PURPOSE!

------

Just throwing a few things out there. Nice thread Echo
+1 Haha

Yeah, after the reset I lost all aspiration to become the highest level. But still, it is quite fun to log on every once in a while and grind...Sort of..None of us veterans can ever leave the community completely, amirite?

My last project was to get my alt to level 32 (I thought 31 would be enough at first), and drag my other character just shy of lvl 40. So now I have a level 36 and a level 39 character.

I still play the daily quests with the lvl 39, and do some farming in the "cave" with both characters in tandem (never seen Boulder go down so fast). But, the wind in my sail has diminished a bit lately.

I really don't want to go through another three week grind to get another character to level 36. Although, it's not out of the question. The biggest pain in that is starting yet another FB account. I have two gaming accounts already (and also my personal one).

What keeps me coming back? Goals. Something I want to accomplish, and it doesn't have to be xp-related. So first it was maxing out my level, now I'm maxing out my gear and moving up on the Kong all-time monster-kills ranking. When I finish those two? I'll either come up with a new one (can't imagine what it will be though, to be frank) or find some other way to spend my free time until something is added to the game to bring me back. Pets, businesses, houses, whatever to build up would provide that. Guilds/clans to hang out in? There would need to be something like guild-only group megaquests a la "someone from your guild slays this super BAMF creature" for that to appeal to me. And that appeal would last precisely until I had gotten whatever rewards there were for all those quests. Guilds are not in and of themselves a motive for me, only what you do WITH the guild.

+250 coins per day * 365 = 91K per year; which is approximately double the median household income in the United States according to wikipedia.

BUMP!

Started playing again. Miss me? .. hah. Got lots of work to do on my alts! Omega is right, we can never leave the community

Would love to hear back from Gamer or any of the team about the moderator position I mentioned earlier in this thread. Even if its just a simple "No you cannot be a Mod", a response is better than no response
