I realise that it is made by an American developer, but why should that mean that other countries don't get their own stuff? If I made items for St. George's Day or for The Queen's (of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth) Diamond Jubilee, would there be any chance of that going in-game, or would my items not be considered due to a discrepancy of where I was born (which isn't exactly something I got to choose).

Whether it is 'an american thing' doesn't hinge on just your opinion on the sport. A significant portion of U.S. residents do like American Football, and in other countries it's only really a niche sport.

I'm not hating, I just think that this should game should remain fair in terms of it's inclusion of national items. There's already the 4th of July stuff, there probably would have been Thanksgiving stuff if anybody had been bothered to make stuff for it and I just think adding any American Football items would be a step too far. If I wanted to play a game about America, I'd play Captain America.

Of course Americans don't call it American Football, they call it (just) football which is why it's confusing to the rest of the world associates that word with the game Americans call soccer. And maybe the U.S. wins is because the other countries just don't give that much of a flying f-word? And if you read carefully what I have posted on this thread, I have never said all of America, just that large parts of America are fans of American Football.

The system on the left is the imperial system, which was not invented by Americans. The system on the right is the metric system which is used by everywhere excluding the U.s, Burma and Liberia. It is however used in science-y stuff in the U.S. because the scientists have realised that the system on the left is old and outdated. And I am not sure where this chart originally came from, I just remember seeing it one time and I thought it might be relevant here. I doubt the chart was made by the people who put the watermark on it.
