Same here, the current flash debug player seems to crash firefox/firebug even before it gets "officially" activated. -_- Dont we love Adobe...

I've found the issue. You have to change that one setting listed above in your mm.cfg file.

That didn't work for me, so I started swapping other 1's for 0's and the one that did make it work for me was AS3DynamicProfile=1 to 0. Then it started to not crash on each load. I also set AS3Verbose and AS3Trace to 0 because with those set to 1 flash was running REALLY slow. With all 3 set to 0 though, it runs pretty much like normal and I see tons of traces.

Changing the AS3Trace didn't work for me either. I'll give Iamallama's changes a shot when I get a chance.

First post instructions causes FF to crash when loading FO. Disabling Flashbug causes FO to hang.

Side note1: When I first ran FF after installing the changes I got a chrome: blah blah .xul error that debug asked me to go the flash settings manager to approve.
Side note2: First run also failed to create mm.cfg. On restart a dialog actually told me it couldn't create mm.cfg but it was now there for editing. Seems counter-intuitive so it may have been user error/trying to install all three at the same time instead of one at a time.

Checking for update extensions and restarting the PC fixed the issue without changing mm.cfg any but I'm not getting any output in flashbug; though sometimes the adobe flash itself will give me a popup.
